INGREDIENTS
1 pack of Green’s Pancake Mix
1 tsp active dry yeast
250mL lukewarm water
Canola oil for frying
Green’s Maple Syrup
1 punnet strawberries, quartered
¼ cup natural pistachios, crushed
METHOD:
Add yeast to pancake mix, then add approximately 250mL lukewarm
water. Shake vigorously and set aside for approximately 20 mins.
Meanwhile heat the oil in a medium saucepan on medium heat.
Drop dollops of dough in the oil and fry on each side until golden
brown. Remove from oil with a slotted spoon and place in a bowl.
Drizzle maple syrup and allow to soak.
To serve, place a few loukamades in a serving bowl, top with
strawberries and crushed pistachios.
