CHINESE PORK GINGER DUMPLINGS

INGREDIENTS
  • 100 wonton wrappers

  • 800g mince pork

  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons of sliced green onion

  • 4 tablespoons of soy sauce

  • 3 tablespoons of sesame oil

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 5 cups of finely shredded Chinese cabbage

GUIDE / INSTRUCTIONS
  • In a large bowl, combine the pork, ginger, garlic, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, egg and cabbage. Stir until well mixed.

  • Put all ingredients into the Kenwood food processor and blend, combining all ingredients together.

  • Place 1 heaping teaspoon of pork filling onto each wonton skin.

  • Moisten the edge with water to help it stick, and fold over to form a triangle. Roll edges slightly to seal the filling.

  • Set the dumplings on a lightly floured surface until ready to cook.

  • To cook, steam the dumplings in a covered bamboo steamer for 15-20 minutes. Serve immediately.
